Can I use Metro Retro for free?
Yes, the free version of Metro Retro allows you to run any kind of meeting or workshop, with up to 4 active boards at any time. In addition, some features are not available on the Free plan, like advanced meeting host controls and board guests.
What are Active Boards?
Active Boards are boards that you can edit. Accounts on the Free Plan get four active boards, while Accounts on a paid plan get unlimited active boards. When you exceed 4 boards on the Free Plan, the oldest board in your space will become view-only, meaning it cannot be edited. With each new board that is created, the next-oldest board will be made view-only.
What are the Free Plan limits?
The Free plan has the following limits:
- Create unlimited boards, but only the four most recent boards are “active” (editable)
- Basic meeting host controls (private writing)
- Standard templates only
- Cannot save custom templates
- Unlimited members
- One team space
- Team Members only, no Guests
What is a Member in Metro Retro?
A member is someone that has signed up and joined your team. Each member needs a license. Members have full access to the team dashboard and all functionality.
What is a Guest in Metro Retro?
Guests can join boards without needing a license. They do not have access to your team space, and can only access the boards that have been shared with them. Guests do not need to signup to join a board. Guests are perfect for working with external clients.
What is the difference between Members and Guests in Metro Retro?
Members are registered users of the team space. They can: create and manage boards, be the Host of a meeting, use Meeting controls, create custom templates, edit board layouts, and access the workspaces they belong to. On the other hand, a guest is a temporary role with limited functionality to just participate on the board they have been invited to.
Each member needs a license, while guests do not affect billing.
Can I collaborate with people outside my team?
Yes, all Accounts on a paid plan can invite external guests to their boards. The Pro plan allows 10 guests per board, while the Business Plan allows unlimited guests per board. Just share your board link with your external collaborator, and they will automatically join as a guest.
How many workspaces and folders do I get?
The Free plan has one workspace for all your team members.
Paid plans have unlimited private workspaces and folders which can be used to privately store and organize boards in different teams.
How can I upgrade?
You can start a Pro plan subscription with a payment card inside your team space. Talk to us to upgrade to the Business plan.
Contact us for invoice billing, which is available for annual plans, or for monthly subscriptions over 100 Pro or 50 Business licenses.
Can I change my plan?
Monthly subscriptions
You can increase or decrease your members at any time, and your next bill will update pro-rata.
Annual subscriptions
You can only increase paid seats on the annual plan, you cannot decrease your paid seats until your renewal date. Annual plans have a 30-day refund or plan adjustment period.
Any other changes
Please contact us if you want to change your plan type or billing period.
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes you can cancel your plan at any point, which will stop your plan from renewing. Your team space will continue on the paid plan until the end of the current billing period.
Annual plans can cancel with a full refund within the first 30 days.
